Sugarplum Fairy
Here is Lucy, in the basement of a church last saturday night. I made the colossally stupid assumption that she would be fun to bring to Sam's violin Christmas concert.
Not that fun. At all. She did not last more than a song and a half, then she was climbing all over me, trying to throw hymn books off the balcony, sticking her fingers up my nose, lifting her dress over her head. So we spent 94 percent of the concert in the basement, where I watched her twirl around and around while straining my ears to hear the violins upstairs so I could tell Sam I heard him.
Next year, I go sans the sugarplum.

That is a colossally cool photo, though.
I'm with kalki. LOVE the photo.
I remember twirling like that when I was a little girl. I hated wearing dresses, but I loved to twirl them.
Hi Amy,
Siobbhan urged me to visit and I am so glad I did! I will check back often to follow your entertaining entries! Sounds like life is really great for you with three little munchkins! Hope you are well.
Happy Holidays!
Love, that Laura Brown girl.
After trying to get the two littles to sit still through Punkin's Thanksgiving program, we're letting them stay home for Punkin's Christmas program. ;)
I'm with Ladybug -- I hated dresses, but loved the twirl. And God help the dress placed over my head that didn't have sufficient lift to twirl!! Your sugarplum is precious, if a bit wiggly at concerts. ;)
