Back 2 School!

First day of school today! It was weird saying goodbye to Monty for the whole day, grade one and all. Felt a little like my heart got emptied out when he went into his classroom. Me and Lucy had some serious 'ladytime' though. Puttered around the house, did laundry, went for a walk and looked at everyone's flowers.

Here is a pic at the bus stop. The extra kid is the neighbor's. Monty looks a little overwhelmed by his gear. Sam looks like my big grade six boy. Wah! Lucy is happy because at this point she thinks she is going to school too. The tears came after, when she had to be restrained from jumping onto the bus behind them. "I go sool too, mommy! I'n a big girl!"
