Remembering an old friend
Happy International Womens Day, Ladies!
March 8 is a day when I remember my friend Heather, who died six years ago. I blogged about it last year, and that kind of says it all. Send up a smile to her for me if you get a chance. She was something else.

What a beautiful tribute, Amy. It's what we all want, to be remembered after we're gone -- at least by a few people...! Happy Women's Day to you too.
Kiss! kiss!
(crying)
That fucking sucks...sorry, you know my diction gets kinda cruddy when talking about death. But really, it does. Suck, that is.
Fabulous poem for a fabulous friend and courageous woman.
I'm so sorry for your loss!!!
What a beautiful poem and tribute to her. Treasure your memories!!!
Wow. You're a poet, Amy. And Heather was an incredible muse to your life.
Aaaaw. What a lucky friend she was to have you create such a beautiful remembrance of her. It's out there now. Always.
What a beautiful friend, and so glad you got to tell her how much she meant to you. I wish she was still her with you. Some of my best friends are from the 9th grade and I'm 44 now!
That was beautiful, Amy.
((((HUGS))))
Oh, Amy. So beautiful. I didn't realize until the end -- crying, forgive me -- I didn't realize that you gave her the poem. That she got to read it. I was thinking you wrote it after her death. But you didn't. That touches me so deeply. Let us all write the poems, send the poems, while their stars can read them, and while we can feel the happiness they give. Good for you, for doing that.
XOXOX
Today marks 3 years since my good friend passed away as well.
Hugs to you lady.
uh oh- swamped eh? Hang in there! ~ also, been meaning to give you a smile (*SMILE*) for your sweet tribute to your friend.
Amy, I hope all is well with you.
Hugs, take care,
Kelli
